My name is Vivienne and I was born and raised in Vietnam -
a country shaped like the letter S. At the age of 16, I moved to New Zealand on my own, beginning a completely a new chapter not only in my life, but also in my passion. I am the founder of November Photography.
My Pentax K3 camera – a birthday gift from my father when I turned 15 – became my very first companion.
From that moment, I started capturing moments at school events back in high school. I’ve always believed that every moment holds its own value, and photography is a way to preserve those priceless memories.

The Shark Jaw Building in Hanoi was built around 1991–1993 and was demolished in 2025.
Those very first photos, from school events to familiar places like The Shark Jaw Building in Hanoi i took in 2016 - became the foundation of the journey I continue today.
The First Train Ride & A Turning Point
At 16, I took a train from Auckland CBD to Papatoetoe for my very first paid shoot, a birthday celebration for a foreign family. It wasn’t just a job, but a doorway into the world of professional photography services.
I realised that I didn’t just love taking photos – I loved connecting with people and exploring different cultures. Every client, every story has given me a new perspective on the world.
Portrait photography has always held a special place in my work. For me, it’s not just about capturing how someone looks, but revealing who they are — their energy, their emotions, and the quiet details that make them unique. Beyond capturing reality, I’m deeply passionate about developing new creative concepts. I love exploring ideas that push beyond traditional photography. Whether it’s through mood, lighting, styling, or narrative, I aim to craft images that feel intentional, refined, and emotionally resonant. Each concept is an opportunity to create not just a photograph, but a visual story — something that feels personal, timeless, and uniquely yours.

Over the past 9 years in New Zealand, through photography studies in both high school and university, along with personal creative projects, I’ve continuously developed and refined my skills.
I would describe my photography style as a blend of editorial, aesthetics, and storytelling. For me, post-production is not just about editing – it’s about completing the emotion of an image.
At the same time, I remain flexible with my style to suit each client, because what matters most is that you feel seen, understood, and truly represented in your own story.
You’ll often find me spending hours with my laptop and a cup of coffee, carefully refining each detail – in a quiet space where I feel most at home.

This will be a specialised wedding creative studio, where imagery and film go beyond simply capturing moments — they are thoughtfully crafted to fully express the emotions and unique story of each couple, while also creating modern, shareable content for today’s digital platforms.
