At November Photography, we specialize in documenting genuine emotions with a cinematic and storytelling approach, so you can fully stay present in the moment.
Planning the Perfect Surprise
We will work closely with you and our vendors to carefully plan every detail while keeping the surprise intact.
This includes:
Location recommendations based on your vision (beach, park, city, sunset, etc.)
Timing guidance for the best lighting (golden hour is highly recommended)
A simple, stress-free plan so you know exactly what to do

Marriage Licence: Apply via Internal Affairs (dia.govt.nz) - valid for 3 months
Age Requirement:
18+ no consent needed; 16–17 requires parental/court consent
Registered Celebrant:
Must be registered with the NZ Registrar-General
Two Witnesses:
Both over 18, must be present at the ceremony
Work with us for your BIG DAY
1. Let's have a chat first!
Our first meeting is about getting to know you your story, your connection, and what truly matters most.
From there, we shape a vision together, guiding you through every step with intention and ease.
4. Venue Access
We need 30 minutes at the venue before guests arrive to scout locations and set up. Please inform your venue coordinator we will be attending. Drone usage requires venue and CAA permission.
7. Image Usage & Privacy
We may use images for portfolio and social media unless you request otherwise in writing. You receive full personal use rights to all delivered images. Commercial usage requires a separate agreement.
2. Booking & Deposit
A 40% non-refundable deposit secures your date. Balance is due 14 days before your wedding. We accept bank transfer and credit card. Dates are not held without a deposit.
5. Lighting & Natural Light
We strongly recommend ceremonies between 3–5pm for the best natural light. Inform us if your ceremony is indoors in a dark venue , we will prepare accordingly. Flash may be used discreetly.
8. Cultural Sensitivity
We respect all cultural and religious protocols. Please brief us on any rituals we should not photograph or film, and introduce us to relevant family members or officiants in advance.
3. Timeline Planning
Send us your wedding timeline at before. We'll flag any scheduling issues.
Allow 45–60 minutes for couple portraits, this is the most important time in the day for beautiful images.
6. Delivery Time
Photography galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks. Wedding films within 8–12 weeks. Content creation clips within 24–48 hours. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
9. Weather Policy
We photograph in most weather conditions, rain can create beautiful images! We carry weather protection for gear. If outdoor ceremonies must be moved indoors, please notify us as soon as possible.
